Organizations I Support:

Yosemite Conservancy

A nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Yosemite’s resources and providing enriching visitor experiences in the park.

The Yosemite Conservancy helps visitors connect with Yosemite through adventures, volunteering and the arts, and the funding of grants for high-priority projects, including restoration, educational programs and research.

Their philanthropic partnership with Yosemite goes back more than 95 years.

Pacific Crest Trail Association

The mission of the Pacific Crest Trail Association is to protect, preserve and promote the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail as a world-class experience for hikers and equestrians, and for all the values provided by wild and scenic lands.

Some examples of their work include: supporting volunteers in areas like trail maintenance; conducting advocacy; working with agencies to support the trail; managing closures; responding to threats such as logging, illegal trespassing and development proposals; and protecting the trail through land acquisition and easements.

Sierra Club

The Sierra Club's first members, including John Muir, were originally focused on the conservation of California's Sierra Nevada mountains. Since then, the Sierra Club has evolved into an organization that works to advance climate solutions and ensure everyone has access to clean air, clean water, and a healthy environment.
